At St Charles’ Catholic Primary School, we believe that giving glory, honour, praise and thanks to God is central to our Christian Collective Worship. It is our loving response, in words and actions, to God’s invitation to enter into relationship with Him, made possible through the work of Jesus Christ and the witness of the Holy Spirit.
Collective Worship at St Charles’ Catholic Primary School provides opportunities for pupils and staff to come together to worship God, with Christ at its heart, while respecting diversity of belief and commitment. Collective Worship, is Catholic in character, reflecting the liturgical tradition of the Church and taking into account the religious and educational needs of all who share in it.
Our weekly Collective Worship and Daily Classroom Prayer are rooted in the previous Sunday Mass reading and always leading to pray and reflection.
