Prehistoric Art:

The children will learn about design, drawing, craft, painting and art appreciation.

 

Formal Elements of Art:

The children will learn about shape, tone, drawing from observation.

 

Spring – Mechanical Systems and Craft

Mechanical Systems:

The children will learn how to make a Slingshot.

Craft:

The children will learn about materials: tie-dye, weaving and sewing.

 

Summer – Structures and Food

Structures:

The children will construct a pyramid.

Food:

The children will learn about eating seasonally.
